Hinter collects only the information you choose to send us. This page explains what we collect, why, and how it is handled.

1. What we collect

When you contact us by email, we receive the information you include — typically your name, company, email address, and the content of your inquiry (such as part details or drawings). We do not collect anything you do not send.

2. How we use it

Your information is used only to respond to your inquiry, prepare quotations, and carry out the resulting business communication. We do not use it for advertising and do not send marketing messages without your consent.

3. Retention

Inquiry records are kept for as long as needed to handle the inquiry and meet record-keeping obligations for business transactions, and are deleted afterwards.

4. Sharing

We do not sell or share your information with third parties, except where required by law or where sharing with a supplier is necessary to answer your sourcing request (e.g., forwarding part specifications — never your contact details without consent).

5. Cookies & tracking

This site uses no analytics or advertising trackers. Your language preference is stored only in your own browser (localStorage). Our hosting provider (GitHub Pages) may record standard access logs such as IP addresses.
